Tirupur: In an outrageous incident in Tirupur, members of Hindu Munnani allegedly barged into a private knitwear company for refusing to donate for the ongoing Vinayagar Chaturthi celebrations and even allegedly indulged in damaging the company properties, on Thursday.

The shocking CCTV footage of the entire incident has been widely circulated in social media.
Suresh, runs a private knitwear company in Angeripalayam road, Tirupur where more than 400 employees work. Meanwhile, before three days, members of Hindu Munnani outfit approached the company for donations for Vinayagar Chaturthi celebrations and procession. It is reported that as Suresh was not there in the company, the employees refused to pay donations.
A couple of days later, the Hindu Munnani members returned back and urged Suresh to donate Rs 10,000/- for the celebrations. However Suresh refused to make any sort of donations and sent them back.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Vinayagar Visarjan and procession was held in many places in Tirupur.

During one such procession near Angeripalayam, the Hindu Munnani members allegedly barged into Suresh's Knitwear company and reportedly attacked the security guard and created a ruckus inside the working place.
They allegedly assaulted the employees who questioned them with iron rods present there. In the assault, four employees sustained injuries and we're rushed to Tirupur GH.
Similarly, the assaulters are reported to have damaged the windows panes of the company with flower pots and stones.
Based on the complaints by Suresh, the Tirupur Police have registered a case and are investigating. As the entire incident has been recorded in the CCTV camera fixed in the company, the police are scrutinising the footages to identify the offenders.
