Fire service personnel who rushed to the spot have launched a massive search to recover the corpse.
However, the search has been futile thus far with the fire service personnel unable to trace the body. The search was ongoing this morning too. Peeved at the delay to recover the body, the kin of the youth staged a road roko near Alanthurai and detained a TNSTC bus.
The Alanthurai police who have rushed to the spot are pacifying the distraught relatives.
