The Pykara Dam is surrounded by forests that provide shelter to bears, bisons, leopards and other wild animals. Early this morning, a leopard entered the residence of Babu and hunted down his two pet dogs. Upon hearing the screams of the dogs, Babu hada quick look at the CCTV footage and noticed a leopard exiting from his house. This caused panic among the family members who informed the Forest Department immediately. A few months ago, there was a similar incident of a leopard hunting down goats that were grazing in the same area.
