Coimbatore: A review meeting regarding the ongoing developmental works in the district was held at the District Collectorate here on Wednesday.
Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration and Monitoring officer Harmander Singh headed the review meeting in the presence of District Collector, K. Rajamani and other departmental heads.
Following the meeting, the Principal Secretary along with Corporation Commissioner, Sravan Kumar inspected the newly constructed park at a budget of Rs. 99 lakhs at Kurinji garden, under the Smart City scheme.
Ruban Shankar Raja, Project Director of DRDA, Deputy Corporation Commissioner Prasanna Ramasamy and other officials were also present.
He also inspected the rejuvenation and recreational works carried out in Valankulam and Ukkadam, Periyakulam.
The team also visited the rainwater harvesting system installed in an apartment in Central zone, Ward 71 in Avinashi road.
