According to reports, Suresh, the driver reportedly lost control of the bus due to the slushy roads causing the bus to fall into a pit. As there were no parapets, the bus with 55 passengers aboard fell into the pit.
Following the accident, the public in the area have requested the Highways Department to build parapets to fortify all the roads, and prevent such accidents in the future which could otherwise prove fatal.
