Coimbatore : Following the intelligence alert of a terror plot in Coimbatore, the city has been on alert for the last few days.
Though the alert was very specific about the people involved and their plots, the police or the investigative agencies have not been able to nab them yet.
Following on their quest to nab those pointed out in the alert, NIA and Coimbatore Police were involved in the search today by raiding five houses in the city. Two houses in Vincent Road, two houses in GM Nagar in Ukkadam and one house in Bilal Estate were raided today morning.
