Six government doctors began a fast-unto-death protest, demanding implementation of Government Order 354, which includes pay hike, posting of doctors based on patient load in Government Hospitals, posting counselling for PG service doctors, as well as 50 percent reservation of service doctors in PG courses.
The health of two Government service doctors who began protesting along with four others has reportedly deteriorated. They were hospitalised on Monday.
