Gokul (40), a resident of Nanjanadu village in Ooty had rented a room in a private lodge near the Ooty Central Bus Stand to stay overnight. Meanwhile, since his room remained locked for a long time, the lodge staff grew suspicious and checked on him in his room, only to find him dead.
Gokul's wife and relatives were informed of his death. Police are investigating if Gokul's death was a suicide or murder.
