Coimbatore: With the second wave of Southwest Monsoon picking up along the ghat region today, the level of water at the Siruvani Reservoir located in Palakkad remained stable since the previous rainy days.
As of Sunday, the level of water at the reservoir stood at 41.13 feet (875.94 meters) against the full capacity of the reservoir which is 49.53 ft (878.50 m).
Around 53 MLD water was being drawn from the reservoir for distribution, on a daily basis. The catchment area of the reservoir received as much 65 mm of rain and 7 mm of rain was recorded at the foothills, today.
