Around 3782 candidates are expected to appear for the examinations, and the police officials reviewed the security arrangements at the two examination centres.
The examination for second-grade police is to be held in many places in Tamil Nadu tomorrow. Around 3782 candidates have applied for Tirupur in the two examination centres, Jaivaibai Girls School and Kumaran Women's College.
The exams will commence at 10 am and will end at 11.30 am.
Officials including Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar, District SP Nisha Mittal and Assistant Commissioner Uma visited the examination centres.
Later, Commissioner Sanjay Kumar told reporters “the arrangements for the examinations to be held tomorrow are being made and added that surveillance has been intensified in view of terrorist’s infiltration threat.
