Tirupur: Education minister Sengottaiyan inspected the Higher Secondary school building being constructed with 100% contribution by the State Government at Koduvai.
Following this, he interacted with the businessmen and volunteers to discuss the various features of the syllabus and the School Education system.
Later addressing the press, Minister Sengottaiyan said, "The new syllabus has led to decreased pass percentage in the recent TET examination results. But we have recruited enough teachers. There are no shortage of teachers in Government schools. Moreover, the Government has allowed the school to recruit temporary teachers for a compensation of Rs. 1000 to meet any shortage of teaching hands".
