Coimbatore : The State-owned UCO Bank organized a campaign for the generation of ideas and consultation within the branch level on August 17th and 18th in the city as per the directions issued by Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

“The primary objective of the meeting was to align banking with national priorities, stimulating ideas and inculcating a sense of involvement among the bankers down to the branch level” said R.J Shankara, Deputy General Manager (Under Audit & Inspection, UCO Bank, Head Office, Kolkata), C.A Nagarathna, Deputy General Manager and Zonal Head of the Bank graced the event.

All 60 Branch Heads in the Coimbatore zone participated in the consultative bankers meet. Stage two will take place from 22nd to 23rd August 2019, and the final stage will be held for two days at the national level.
UCO Bank efficiently functions in 23 districts of Tamil Nadu and gas beeb enhancing the services like electronic transactions system shortly, enhancing the credit facilities of SMEs, auto housing, education and personal loans, agricultural loans, gold jewellery mortgage loans. The bank employees will visit the senior citizens who are unable to visit banks to help them.
The higher officials explained the services like applying online banking practices to Textile Export department in Tirupur, Karur and Coimbatore districts. They deliberated about the regional businesses, Rs 1800 crore loans, Rs 1700 crores deposit funds, improvement of weak branches as per branch rating for the last five years, Reduction of Interest Rate and Debt Relief.
