Tirupur: Ramesh who owns a rice mandi in Tirupur was robbed off cash and other materials from his shop.
The incident happened when Ramesh as usual locked his shop at 10:30 pm on Friday and left home. When he came back to open the shop the next day he was shocked to see the ceiling of the shop was ripped out and Rs. 27,000 and 4 pen drives missing from the shop.
Following this, he submitted a petition to the Police Commissioner to nab the culprit. In the petition, Ramesh has alleged that things have been stolen from his shop three months back and once in 2018 too . It was later found that the culprit was dressed as a woman from the CCTV footage. Following the petition, the Tirupur North police are investigating the case.
