Addressing the media Pon. Radhakrishnan alleged that the Congress, DMK,and MDMK have betrayed the citizens of the country in Kashmir affair.

"Parties like DMK and MDMK which speak on social justice, and feminism have not made any concession to the tribals and people living in Kashmir for the past 72 years. They did not question the denial of rights to the tribal people and women who were not given equal rights.

"Why didn't the parties care about them?" he quipped.

Pon Radhakrishnan, added "The state of Kashmir did not have any growth because of the special status it had, but instead rolled out the red carpet for Pakistani militants. DMK should ask a question on who all benefited with the special status granted to Kashmir."

Many BIP party cadres took part in the event organised to pay tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
