Coimbatore: In a letter addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, PMK Youth Wing State Deputy Secretary Ashok Srinithi has requested the police department to probe into six financial institutions which are indulging in malpractices by luring in the people to invest in fraudulent schemes.

PMK Youth Wing Deputy Secretary appreciated the prompt action of the police department which arrested the six member gang who cheated the public by promising 20 times returns on their investment.

"The Police acted fast based on the complaint which was followed by a public protest" Srinithi noted
In his letter, he mentioned that they have identified 6 more such institutions who are giving false promises of increased returns. The risky schemes are identified as MLM and Ponzi.
Hence he requested the police department to probe into the fraudulent companies and investigate the matter thoroughly and to prevent the investors from getting trapped in a scam in the future.
