Coimbatore: As a part of their continuous campaign for the restoration of water bodies, for the 131st week a team of 50 volunteers of Kovai Kulangal Pathukaapu Amaippu took part in the fieldwork at Vellalore tank from 7.00 am to 9.30 am yesterday.

Due to the incessant torrential rains that the city has been experiencing for the past week, all the water bodies in the city are brimming.
Thanking 'Mother Nature' for its benevolence, the volunteers of Kovai Kulangal Pathukaapu Amaippu sprinkled flowers and cereals in the Vellalore pond.
The volunteers then embarked on the planting of saplings at the Myawaki dense forest.
