U.M.D Raja, a goldsmith residing in Kuniamuthur has embarked on the noble mission by utilizing the images of tall leaders of our nation.
"The youth should understand that they are the leaders of tomorrow, and so I have painted the images of great Indian leaders like Subhash Chandra Bose, Gandhi, Nehru, Bhagath Singh, Dr Radha Krishnan, Vivekananda, Gokhale, Rajaram Mohan Roy and, Ambedkar along with the India map," said Raja.
He said that he emblazoned the helmet with the image of the leaders and the job got completed within two days.. "However much the Government is trying to implement the helmet rule, most of the public is still not aware of the positives of wearing a helmet" stressed Raja.
My awareness campaign should create awareness among youth to take to wearing a helmet, as most of road accident victims die due to head injuries and by skipping wearing the protective helmet” Raja said about his mission of spreading the message.
In the past Raja has created miniatures of M.G.R and Karunanidhi, and even Jesus Christ and a Church in pencil tip to mark anniversaries and festivals.
