Due to flooding of a bridge that connects Mangalam and College road in Anaipalayam which got submerged the ongoing traffic was affected.
Likewise, the bridge near Easwaran Kovil, Tirupur near River Noyyal is getting weak due to the waterlogging Hence traffic is restricted and diversions effected on alternative routes.
Residents of Karuvampalayam near Noyyal are affected as the floodwaters entered their hut.
The residents of Karuvampalayam has appealed the district administration to set up shelters to escape the waterlogging and flooding in their areas.
