Pandian who is a tailor from the same region was out of town to attend a wedding. On his return, he was shocked to find the front door broken. On checking his home, he found that 35 sovereigns of gold and Rs.50,000 cash were missing.
Pandian immediately registered a case with the Avinashi police. The police are investigating the case and have launched a hunt for the culprit.
