This has caused flooding of rivers and tress have been uprooted on the roadsides, disrupting traffic.
Sennannan who lived alone in his house at Kinnakorai got stuck in the debris of the wall collapse. Neighbours rushed to help retrieve him and sent him to the hospital immediately but doctors declared him as brought dead. The Emerald police have registered a case and investigation is underway.
