The organizers of the meet said that apart from providing counselling to individuals affected by HIV and their families, we offer them free medicines that prevent the spread of the disease with the help of Government.
We have been residing in Tirupur for the past four years to raise awareness of AIDS. More than 250 members out of 2000 AIDS infected people in the 13 unions of Tirupur have been benefited by the project. We also provide nutritional advice to HIV infected individuals.
The officials of Native Medicare reported that they have formed self-help groups and are trying to get the bank loans for the affected so that they can get involved in self-employment business avenues and opportunities.
