Coimbatore: To mark the Bone and Joint Week being celebrated from August 1 to 7, the Bone and Joint Awareness and Road Safety Rally were organised by the Coimbatore Orthopaedic Society and UYIR Project.
Coimbatore: To mark the Bone and Joint Week being celebrated from August 1 to 7, the Bone and Joint Awareness and Road Safety Rally were organised by the Coimbatore Orthopaedic Society and UYIR Project.
Prof. Dr. S Rajasekaran, Chairman – Department of Orthopaedics & Spine Surgery of Ganga Hospital inaugurated the rally on August 6 at the Avinashilingam University Junction, Mettupalayam Road.
The President of the Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association – Dr. J Dheenadhayalan, Executive Council Member, Dr. S R.Sundararajan and the Secretary of Coimbatore Orthopaedic Society, Dr. P Dhannasekara Raja were also present.
During the rally, pamphlets on Bone Health awareness was distributed to the public. Over 60 students from various colleges participated in the rally and distributed sweets to people who followed road rules while others were briefed on road safety.
