Students Islamic Organisation of India announces nationwide campaign to 'Raise the Truth - Uphold Justice'

Coimbatore: The executives of the Students Islamic Organisation of India have announced a nationwide campaign with the central theme being "Raise the Truth - Uphold Justice" which is being executed from August 1 to September 30.

Coimbatore: The executives of the Students Islamic Organisation of India have announced a nationwide campaign with the central theme being "Raise the Truth - Uphold Justice" which is being executed from August 1 to September 30. 

The campaign was announced at a media briefing held at the Coimbatore Press Club. "Students are facing a number of problems in the present scenario such as eligibility test, education fees, NEET, NEXT and many other issues. Thus, the status of the existing present community has become a question mark. This series of campaigns is aimed at raising awareness among the students. Our student body is present in 20 states and this campaign will also run in all the districts of Tamil Nadu," announced the leaders.

Responding to the scrapping of Article 370 in Kashmir, the group felt that it was a violation of democratic rights. "This is the decision of the Central Government to act arbitrarily without consulting the people in Kashmir. The Students Islamic Organization of India has condemned the issue and the Central Government must prevent terrorist attacks in Kashmir," they reiterated.

Nizar, the State Advisory board member, Sikander, the former State President, Sabir, Secretary, Aashiq, State Education Campus Secretary and Aarif, the Coimbatore District Secretary were also present at the media briefing.
