Tirupur : A few residents of Pethapalayam near Palladam in Tirupur district were shocked to see a freshly-dug grave whilst answering nature's call at a deserted place in the Pethapalayam area.
Tirupur : A few residents of Pethapalayam near Palladam in Tirupur district were shocked to see a newly-dug grave whilst answering nature's call at a deserted place in the Pethapalayam area.
Noticing a pack of biscuits on top of the small-sized grave, the shocked residents of the area assumed it to be an offering to a dead child. They informed the police immediately, who arrived at the spot along with a few revenue officials.
On digging the grave, a carcass of a dog was found to be buried. The police found out later that owners of a pet dog had buried their dead pet and left the dog's favourite pack of biscuits on top of the grave. Residents around the area were relieved after hearing the news from the police.
