Coimbatore : The District Collector K Rajamani, in a recent press release announced that applications for trainer courses for the Government ITI Mettupalayam, Women's ITI and Government ITI Anaikatti can now be downloaded from www.skilltraining.gov.in until June 27, 5 pm.
Coimbatore : The District Collector K Rajamani, in a recent press release announced that applications for trainer courses for the Government ITI Mettupalayam, Women's ITI and Government ITI Anaikatti can now be downloaded from www.skilltraining.gov.in until June 27, 5 pm.
The courses being offered include Electrician, MMV, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Machinist Grinder, R & A/C, Copa, Wireman, Welder, ICTSM, IM, MMTM, COE, Pattern Maker, PPO, Sheet Metal Worker, Mechatronics, Electronic Mechanic, Food Production and Digital Photographer.
Necessary arrangements have been made at the Centres to aid candidates who find it difficult to download the application, online. The additional benefits include free bus passes, uniforms, laptops and all the required tools for the course. The students will also be provided with Rs.500 as stipend, every month.
On completion of the course, the students will be provided with job opportunities through a campus selection from various companies. The ITI training admits both men and women, with the age eligibility for men being 14-40 years, while there is no age bar for women. For deserving SC/ST candidates, free food and accommodation will be provided.
