The Commissioner even visited an old age home run by the Corporation and inspected if the basic amenities were maintained properly. He interacted with the elderly enquiring about their comfort and health.
Later, he visited Ukkadam to check the progress of the Smart City work underway in the shores of Periyakulam and subsequently visited Vaalangulam to inspect the work in progress under the bridge.
Corporation officers including K. Santhosh Kumar and Assistant Commissioner (West zone) Senthil Kumar Ratnam and Regional Health Officer Radha Krishnan accompanied the CCMC Commissioner.
