Coimbatore: As part of celebrating the International Day of Yoga on June 21, Ayur Kovai Arokkiya is organising AyuYOGA, a mass yoga program in association with various organisations in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: As part of celebrating the International Day of Yoga on June 21, Ayur Kovai Arokkiya is organising AyuYOGA, a mass yoga program in association with various organisations in Coimbatore.
The program is intended to promote the well-being of every citizen in Coimbatore. In keeping with the UN resolution passed in the general assembly on December 11, 2014 which reads 'Noting the importance of individuals and populations making healthier choices and following lifestyle patterns that foster good health,' Coimbatoreans are being called to make healthier choices and lifestyle choices as part of this program.
The mass yoga program supported by the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd. and SNR Institutions will be held on June 21 from 8 am, at the premises of Sri Ramakrishna School on SNR College Road. Ayur Kovai Arokkiya has request the co-operation, goodwill support and participation of all Coimbatoreans.
Ayur Kovai Arokkiya had also organised AyuRUN a mass run program on International Health Day at Race Course which was attended by over 800 denizens of the city. Ayur Kovai Arokkiya is a citizen movement of Coimbatoreans co-ordinated from AVP Research Foundation, the non-profit entity of AVP Group that focuses on research and education on Indian Systems of Medicine.
