City-based artist creates piece of art wishing our CM a speedy recovery

City-based goldsmith by profession and artist by passion, U.M.T Raja is better known for his creativity. Unnal Mudiyum Thambi Raja, a.k.a as U.M.T Raja has created his latest piece of art. An ardent fan of our Chief Minister, J Jayalalitha, this artist has created a carving on two watermelons to express his wishes for her speedy recovery.

For his latest work, two watermelons weighing three-kilograms and two-kilograms each have been used. On one of them, this artist has carved an image of a temple, a mosque and a church. This he says is to invoke the blessings of God.  The same watermelon also sports the official emblem of the Government of Tamil Nadu.  On the watermelon weighing two-kilograms, U.M.T Raja has carved the portrait of our CM.

Speaking to SimpliCity U.M.T Raja confirms that he is not AIADMK member or functionary. However, he is an admirer of Jayalalitha's governance. He expresses his wish that people from all walks of life must pray for the CMs recovery.

This is not the first time that U.M.T Raja has attempted creating a piece of art for our CM. In the past, this artist has painted Jayalalitha's image on a bulb. He has also carved the word AMMA on gold and he has carved her face on a grain of rice too.
