Coimbatore: Police quarters for the 4th Wing police force was inaugurated today in the city by the Chief Minister, Edappadi K Palanisamy through video conferencing. Minister SP Velumani and K Rajamani, the District Collector were also present. 137 houses worth Rs.12.8 crores were built.

After the inaugural ceremony, Minister SP Velumani said, "At yesterday's party meeting in Chennai, we discussed about the election results and the expectations of the voters and ways to fulfill them. The Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy and Deputy Chief Minister, O Paneer Selvam are guiding the party like brothers. We have no issues in the party. Nine constituencies in Sulur and Coimbatore have voted for the ADMK. There is no change in our rule even if the media and opposition parties predict otherwise," reiterated SP Velumani.
The Minister further said, "I have discussed about the water management issues to Ministers Piyush Goyal and Amit Shah. I am expecting a favourable action from their end. The Government is making efforts for water distribution with the 5000 crores allotted for the State. We are fighting a natural drought. But, DMK has won the Lok Sabha elections giving false promises and they will face the consequences in the by-elections."
"The DMK-Congress alliance was the one that betrayed Tamil Nadu. The ADMK-BJP alliance has never done so. The ADMK vote banks remain the same," stressed the Minister. He also disapproved of the comment made by the DMK Chief, MK Stalin who called the Kongu belt as DMK's constituency.
