Further, shocking inside information of terror attacks being planned in South India came to light. Following this, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested six men in suspicion and inspected their residences and offices for more information on them. It is reported that vital information had been gathered after analysing documents like passbooks, passports and their phone lines in the past six months.
Mohammed Azaruddin from Coimbatore has been confirmed among the suspects to be connected with ISIS. He has been arrested for further investigation.
Following instructions fro the NIA, the Police and Revenue departments have been raiding both the residences and offices of Shahjahan from Anbu Nagar, Hayabulla from Karumbukkadai and Mohammed Hussain from Vincent Road since 4.30 am this morning. Later, all three suspects were taken to the PRS campus for a second round of investigation.
