Tirupur : In a miraculous escape, all the five passengers of a car sustained just minor injuries after the car they were travelling plunged into a well near Kovilpalayam in Tirupur on Saturday evening.
Tirupur : In a miraculous escape, all the five passengers of a car sustained just minor injuries after the car they were travelling plunged into a well near Kovilpalayam in Tirupur on Saturday evening.
Sendrayan, a resident of Tirupur along with his family was enroute from Vatthalagundu to Tirupur, after attending a family function. While his car reached Kovilpalayam this evening, he lost control and the car plunged into a roadside well.
The passers by immediately alerted the police who along with the fire and rescue department pulled the car and rescued the passengers safely from the well which had only 5 feet of water.
All the five passengers were sent to Tirupur Government hospital for treatment.
