The Kovai TWAD Retired Engineers Association arranged water supply and sanitation facilities for the school at a cost of Rs.50000. The new HDPE tank, water pumps and sanitary pipelines were provided. The damaged toilets and disposal pits were rectified and put into use. The new facilities were handed over to the school today.
At the time of handing over, 20 tree saplings were planted inside the campus. The students were asked to thereon care for the trees. A competition was announced with prizes for the team maintaining the best grown trees which will be distributed during the next Environmental Day. The function was chaired by the Block Education Officer, Tamilselvi.
