Coimbatore : The National Testing Agency declared the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on Wednesday. Overall, 56.57 percentage of candidates have passed nationwide.

Out of the 1,23,078 who appeared in Tamil Nadu, only about 59,785 students have qualified. Chennai-based K.Sruthi is the topper from TN and secured 57th rank, (685 out of 720).
In the differently-abled category, Karvanna Prabhu from TN has secured fifth rank.
Compared to last year, the pass percentage has increased by 9%. In 2018, the pass percentage was 39.56 and this year it is 48.57, a 9.01 percentage increase.
Nalin Khandelwal from Rajasthan has secured the top rank in the test by scoring 701 out of 720 marks. Bhavik Bansal from Delhi and Akshat Kaushil from UP secured second and third ranks respectively.
In 2018, K Keerthana from TN got 12th rank.
