Coimbatore: On account of World Environment Day, Isha Project Green Hands in collaboration with CRPF, BSF, RAF, Young Indians, Ratinam Educational Institutions and TIE jointly organised a 'Green Marathon' on Wednesday at the VOC Park in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: On account of World Environment Day, Isha Project Green Hands in collaboration with CRPF, BSF, RAF, Young Indians, Ratinam Educational Institutions and TIE jointly organised a 'Green Marathon' on Wednesday at the VOC Park in Coimbatore.
Over 500 people including volunteer of the organisers, students of Isha Vidhya and Kovai Athletics Club participated in the event.
The 5 km Green Marathon run started from the VOC grounds covering LIC Corner, KG Theatre and culminated back again at the VOC Grounds.
At the end of the event, saplings were provided to all the participants.
