Coimbatore: The State Education Minister, K Sengottaiyan arrived at the Coimbatore International Airport this evening to travel to his hometown Gobichettipalayam.
He brushed aside the media after he was bombarded by questions on the three-language formula proposed by the Centre for schools across the country.
The media surrounded the Minister at the airport and asked him to comment on various issues like the Centre's proposal to implement a three-language formula for schools across the country, as well as the Tamil poet Bharathiar's new avatar in a Class 12 textbook where he is seen clad in orange instead of the usual white colour. "Don't put me in trouble when everything is going on calmly," said Sengottaiyan as he quickly rushed through the exit doors and left in his car.
