Coimbatore: In a major twist, the three-year-old child of nurse, Pandi Meena who died under mysterious circumstance in Sulur here on Sunday in a video has disclosed tge last moments of her mother.


Coimbatore: In a major twist, the three-year-old child of nurse, Pandi Meena who died under mysterious circumstance in Sulur here on Sunday in a video has disclosed tge last moments of her mother. 

In the video footage the three-year- old is seen confessing that her parents had a verbal war and later her father used ropes. The kid's video has spurred the kin of the deceased to request the police to probe the death. 



In the video, the child introduces herself as Anitha (name changed) and explains that there was some problem with her mother and father and that her father had used ropes. When asked, if she had witnessed her mother dying, the child replies in the affirmative.

Murali Shankar (27) and Muthu Meena (24) were residents of Vivekanandhan Garden, Karangal road in Sulur, with a three-year old daughter. Pandi Meena worked as a nurse in the Palladam Government Hospital, on a temporary contract. It is reported that there were frequent disputes between Pandi Meena and her husband and his family. Last Sunday, Pandi Meena was found hanging in her house in Sulur. Her parents filed a police complaint suspecting foul play since her body did not bear any bruise marks.

Since the case has been registered as a suicide case, Pandi Meena's relatives requested police to register it as a murder case.
