Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Employment office organises a meeting every Friday at the premises for employers of private concerns and candidates who are looking for jobs in private concerns.
This week's meeting will be held on June 7 at 10 am. Candidates for the interview at the meeting can be uneducated, 10th pass, 12th pass, diploma holders with vocational training, ITI or any graduate. Candidates experienced in being security personnel, drivers, welders, fitters, turners or computer operators can also avail of this interview session. The District Collector urged job seekers to make full use of the opportunities being offered.
Private concerns participate in this event to select the deserving candidates as per their requirement. This event is free of charge for all applicants. Candidates who secure a job will thereon be removed from the employment list registered at the office but are eligible to renew their IDs till they secure Government jobs.
