Coimbatore: Suresh, the owner of a jewellery workshop on Big Bazaar Street had reportedly given jewellery weighing about 845 grams to his employee Ramamurthy to take it to Dharapuram.
Coimbatore: In a brazen daylight robbery, an employee of a jewelry manufacturing company who was carrying gold jewelry near Ram Nagar was robbed by two strangers.
The CCTV footages reveal that the two strangers who robbed the jewelry bag had orchestrated the robbery.
Ramamurthy was carrying 845 gms of gold ornaments lto Dharapuram.While on his way to town bus stand, he met with a small accident and fell off from his two-wheeler.
Meanwhile, two strangers who in the pretext of helping him snatched the bag and fled away. He immediately filed a complaint to the Kattoor Police.
It has come to light that the strangers had planned the accident to distract his concentration to snatch the bag. The Kattoor police are on the lookout for the strangers involved in the daylight robbery.
