K Veerappan from Nilgiris is one among them to take part in the 22-day long conference. The conference will be held in various parts of the US including Washington County, Pennsylvania, New Orleans and other places.
During the conference, the representatives from India will be the voice for the rights of the tribals in India and throw light on the suppression inflicted on them over the decades.
As part of the conference, the tribal activists from India will also learn about the Red Indians and other tribal communities from across the world.
