The mega clean-up trip known as 'Planeteer 2019' was organised across 11 states in the country, including Tamil Nadu. The clean-up activity was held in Coimbatore on June 2, from 7 to 9 am.

Following are the details of the locations and the number of volunteers who took part in the clean-up drive, and the trash collected.
Coimbatore:
Krishnampathy Lake: 90 volunteers collected 1-ton trash
Muthananna Kulam: 75 volunteers collected 800 kgs of waste
Chennai:
Broken Bridge Beach: 800 volunteers, 1-ton trash
Ashtalakshmi Temple Beach: 3160 volunteers, 4.6 tonnes trash
Thiruvanmiyur 4th Seaward Road Beach: 260 volunteers, 680 kgs of waste
Kottivakkam Beach: 120 volunteers, 300 kgs of waste
Palavakkam Beach: 260 volunteers, 390 kgs of waste
Neelankarai: 140 volunteers collected 300 kgs of waste
Hyderabad:
Kudikunta Lake: 120 volunteers collected 1-ton trash
Manikonda Lake: 150 volunteers collected 1.2 tonnes of waste
Chakalivani Cheruvu: 155 volunteers collected 1.3 tonnes of waste
Wastes included non-degradable trash such as polyethylene, rubber, thermocol, glass bottles, nylon ropes, leftover clothes and more.
Bangalore: Devasandra Lake: About 260 volunteers collected 1.4 tonnes of trash.
Puducherry:
Veerampattinam Beach: 110 volunteers collected 100 sack bags of non-degradable trash collected.
Kanagan Lake: 205 volunteers, mostly NCC volunteers, collected 800 kgs of waste collected.
