Coimbatore: Palanisamy, the cashier of Martin's group was found dead under mysterious circumstances, last month. His family have petitioned the Collector seeking justice.
While addressing the media, Rohin Kumar, son of Palanisamy and Santhamani said that the family is under constant pressure to claim Palanisamy's corpse. Nagaraj, the Sub Inspector of Karamadai police station was reportedly threatening the family saying that he would exhume Palanisamy's body if it was not claimed by the family soon. Since Palanisamy's family had taken a stand to refrain from claiming the corpse until the murderer was arrested, they had filed a petition with the District Collector urging to preserve Palanisamy's corpse.

On the Collector's advice, a petition was given to the Dean of the Government Hospital requesting the same. Rohin Kumar also said that though court procedures are still on, Martin has been instigating police officers to pressurise the family to claim his father's corpse.
He also said that in the event of the second autopsy report declaring that his father's death was a murder, then they will not claim the corpse until the murderers are arrested. Rohin Kumar reiterated that the family was not being influenced by any political party.
