Following repeated burglary attempts in residential areas in the Sulur police station jurisdiction, night patrolling was increased and a special team was formed to nab the offenders who indulged in burglary and chain snatching.
Meanwhile, during a routine night patrol check, the police intercepted a two-wheeler and questioned the three youngsters on it. It was found that all three had been involved in burglary attempts, in the area. They were identified as Albert Nelson of Palladam, Suresh and Vinoth from Sulur. All three were arrested by the police and 20 sovereign of gold and a two-wheeler were seized from them.
