The Summer Festival was inaugurated by the Dstrict Collector Innocent Divya on May 1, and tourists pay a much-awaited visit to the Ooty Boat House just for a boat ride with friends and family. However, tourists have had to travel 2 km to the Central Bus Stand or to the commercial shop areas just to withdraw money.
Tourists have urged the town authorities to open an ATM near the Boat House.
