Govindhasamy of Trichy and his wife Seetha had visited their relative's house in Pollachi for the Thippampatti temple festival. Meanwhile, Govindhasamy who took ill suddenly was admitted to the Pollachi Government hospital. He was treated for asthma for the past six days.
Meanwhile, Govindhasamy’s wife who did not find him in the men's ward for many hours became suspicious and searched for him in the entire hospital.
