Even as the CBI continues investigation of the case, the mothers of both men have filed a case in the Chennai High Court. Their petition states, “The Court should cancel the Goondas Act filed against Sabarirajan and Thirunavukarasu. The sexual assault should be investigated only under the relevant law.”
