"Jayalalithaa would have taken stern action, if the Pollachi sexual abuse incidents had occurred when she was alive:" TTV Dhinakaran in Irugur

Coimbatore: While on campaign for the Sulur AMMK candidate, Sugumar at Irugur, TTV Dhinakaran stated that Jayalalithaa would have taken stern action in the Pollachi sexual assault case if it had occurred when she were alive.

The General Secretary of the party, TTV Dhinakaran said, "The by-election for the Sulur legislative constituency is an unexpected one and this election will ensure that the Kongu zone will not stand by betrayers. Sasikala could have chosen me as Chief Minister, but she wanted a person from the Kongu belt to be the Chief Minister. Paneerselvam was dismissed from his powers as he acted as the BJP agent and hence Edappadi Palanisamy was made Chief Minister. To keep himself in power, Edappadi Palanisamy turned into an opportunist. If he says that he became the Chief Minister on his own, then why did he crawl and fall at Sasikala's feet?" he questioned.

"18 MLAs who voted in favour of Edappadi Palanisamy were disqualified. Sasikala is the one who made Edappadi Palanisamy as the Chief Minister but what he has done instead is defamed the Kongu belt. People should not vote for betrayers," he slammed.

"The AIADMK have forged an alliance with parties which were not even liked by Jayalalithaa. Modi did not visit the Apollo Hospital to see Jayalalithaa. We are not the kind of people to fear people coming from the North. The AIADMK will face a huge loss in the parliamentary elections," opined TTV Dhinakaran.

"Elimination notice has been issued to 3 MLAs already. Usually, Chief Ministers wish to increase their number of MLAs. But, in contrary, Edappadi Palanisamy is attempting get a hold of power by decreasing the number of MLAs. The Supreme Court has banned the MLA disqualification attempt. A change in regime will occur after May 23 for sure," warned TTV Dhinakaran. "He says he is a farmer, but Edappadi is acting against the welfare of the farmers. Even in the Pollachi case, Jayalalithaa would have taken stern action if she were alive. But, the State government is trying to protect all the persons involved in the Pollachi crime. To form a good regime, people should hand over the country to good people," he added.
