Though temperature was bright and sunny in Nilgiris for the past few days, many parts of Nilgiris received heavy rainfall since yesterday. Drains were blocked and water overflowed onto the main streets affecting tourist movement. But, it is expected that water scarcity will be nil till the end of summer, due to the heavy rainfall.
