Coimbatore: The Corporation Commissioner, J Sravan Kumar convened a meeting with the principals and officials of 11 High Schools and 16 Higher Secondary Schools.
During the meeting, the Corporation Commissioner stated, "In the Class 12 exams, a total of 1831 students have appeared among which 1692 have cleared with the pass percentage being 92.41 percent. In the Class 10 exams, Varadharajapuram High School, Corporation Higher Secondary School, Udayampalayam, Ammaniyammal Higher Secondary School, RS Puram, Corporation Higher Secondary School, Maniyakaranpalayam and Girls Higher Secondary School, Puliyakulam were the schools that provided 100 percent results.
I appreciate the school principals, teachers and students for increasing the pass percentage this year, compared to the previous years. Teachers should continue to work in an efficient manner bringing 100 percent pass percentage in the coming years too. Officials should work on improving the infrastructure of the Corporation schools and encourage the talents of students," reiterated the Corporation Commissioner.
