Tirupur: The 201st birthday of one of the greatest social revolutionist and father of socialism, Karl Marx (May 5, 1818–March 14, 1883) was observed by the All India Trade Union Congress ( AITUC) in Tirupur on Sunday.
Tirupur: The 201st birthday of one of the greatest social revolutionist and father of socialism, Karl Marx (May 5, 1818–March 14, 1883) was observed by the All India Trade Union Congress ( AITUC) in Tirupur on Sunday.
The members of AITUC gathered at PN Road in Tirupur and paid floral tributes to the photo of Karl Marx and paid their respects. They also vowed to annihilate the ruling fascist government from power and reinforce socialism.
They alleged that the central government has been favouring the corporates and has left the working class at lurch.
As part of the event, they released pigeons to mark peace.
