Pollachi : In a raid conducted at a private resort in Sethumadai, Pollachi on Saturday, the Police have reportedly seized drugs like cocaine, injections and other banned substances from the guests who were staying there.

Sources, say that more than 100 youngsters from Kerala, Bangalore and other destinations checked into a private resort situated amidst farmland in Pollachi's Sethumadai area on Friday night. During mid night, the youngsters allegedly created too much of noise which created nuisance to the neighbours living in nearby farmlands.
As they fell dubious on the activities of the youngsters, the villagers alerted the police who rushed to the spot and found that some of the youngsters were under the influence of drugs. Presently, the police are conducting a raid at the resort.
It is also reported that the private resort has not been registered and no legal permission has been obtained. The youngsters have made bookings through online portals.
The seizure of banned drugs in a resort in Sethumadai has created shock waves among the villagers.
